Hello, I'm Michelle Roman. I'm a web designer and UX/UI designer with a passion for crafting websites and apps that are both visually stunning and user-friendly. With 3 years of experience in design, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from small startups to established businesses.

What drives me is the opportunity to understand each client's unique story and vision, then translate that into a digital presence that resonates with their audience. I believe that a well-designed website is more than just a pretty face; it's a powerful tool that can transform your business by enhancing engagement, boosting conversions, and building lasting relationships with your customers.

Aside from having my own web design business, I am currently working as a Product Designer for La Mer.

EDUCATION

My background is a blend of creativity and strategy.

Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing: This has given me a solid understanding of how to drive business results through effective marketing strategies. I know how to align design with business goals, ensuring that every project contributes to your bottom line.

Master's degree in Bilingual Education: This has taught me the importance of clear communication and understanding how people learn and interact with information. In web design and UX/UI, this means I can create intuitive interfaces that guide users through a seamless experience, making sure your digital presence is both accessible and engaging.

General Assembly certification in UX/UI Design: This certification has equipped me with the technical skills to translate user needs into effective design solutions. I use Figma and I'm proficient in user research and synthesis, conducting user interviews, user personas, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, data analysis, iterating, information architecture, and presentation skills, ensuring that every project is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally effective.

This unique combination of skills allows me to approach web design with a personal touch, combining creativity with strategic thinking to deliver projects that truly resonate with your audience.
